1. Eligibility 

• This contest is open to learners who are aged 18 to 23 (and learners 13 and above with their parent/guardian's consent).

• Participants must live in the United States.

• Employees, board members, investors, and contractual workers of REACH Pathways and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

• Signing up for the contest requires you to have a "Gmail" account to utilize the Google Single Sign-On (SSO) for creating and using our app services. 

 

2. Contest Period (50 Days) 

• The contest begins on September 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM CST and ends on November 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM

• The duration of the contest is 50 days. 

 

3. How to Enter 

1. Create an account at https://app.reachpathways.com/home 

2. Navigate to the "Skills Tree" page from the Menu 

3. Complete quests on the Skills Tree 

 

4. Winning Criteria 

• Be among the first 50 participants to complete 30 out of 35 quests on the Skills Tree. 

• Winners will be determined based on the timestamp of quest completion. 

• Some quests require that you upload photo and/or document proof that you carried out some task or project. 

• Some quests require that you participate in projects on third-party websites (e.g., Google Forms). 

 

5. Prize 

• 50 prizes of $100 cash (or equivalent gift card) are available. 

• Total prize pool: $5,000 

• The cash prize will be delivered via email as a digital credit card or gift card using a third-party monetary distribution service. 

 

6. Winner Notification and Prize Claim 

• Winners will be notified via the email registered with their account within 7 days of qualifying. 

• Winners must respond and claim their prize within 14 days of notification. 

• To receive the cash prize, you must consent to REACH posting your photo and initials to our social media pages. 

 

7. General Conditions 

• By participating, entrants agree to these official rules and the decisions of REACH Pathways, which are final and binding. 

• REACH Pathways reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these rules. 

• All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. 

 

8. Limitations of Liability 

• REACH Pathways is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information; (2) technical failures of any kind; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the contest. 

• REACH Pathways reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the contest if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond their reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest. 

• REACH Pathways is not liable for any actions, decisions, or consequences resulting from a participant's use of our services or curriculum during or after the contest. 

• Participants acknowledge that engaging in activities suggested by our curriculum may involve unknown risks which REACH has no way to account for. REACH Pathways is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur as a result of participating in such activities. 

• REACH Pathways does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any third-party content or services accessed through our platform. 

• Participants agree to indemnify and hold REACH Pathways harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their use of our services or participation in contest-related activities. 
   

9. Privacy 

• Personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering/promoting the contest and awarding prizes, in accordance with REACH Pathways' privacy policy. 

 

10. Winner List 

• For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: 247 S. State Street Suite 700, Chicago, IL 60604 within 60 days after the end of the contest period. 

 

11. Sponsor

12. Media Release 

• By participating in this contest, you grant REACH Pathways and its affiliates the right to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and biographical information for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media, without further compensation, notice, review, or consent. 

• You authorize REACH Pathways to edit, modify, cut, rearrange, add to, delete from, reproduce, encode, store, transmit, produce, distribute, and broadcast any media content related to your participation in the contest. 

 

13. Miscellaneous 

• If any provision of these rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. 

• These rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. 

• REACH Pathways reserves the right to amend these rules or discontinue the contest at any time without prior notice. 

• Any dispute arising from this contest will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate courts located in Chicago, Illinois. 

 

14. Intellectual Property Rights

By participating in this contest and submitting any content, including but not limited to writings, images, videos, audio recordings, ideas, concepts, or any other materials (collectively, "Submitted Content") to REACH Pathways, you agree to the following terms regarding intellectual property rights: 

 

a. Grant of Rights: You hereby grant REACH Pathways a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the Submitted Content in connection with REACH Pathways' business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the REACH Pathways platform (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. 

 

b. Original Work: You represent and warrant that your Submitted Content is your original work and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. 

 

c. Waiver of Moral Rights: To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any moral rights you may have in the Submitted Content. 

 

d. REACH's Use: REACH Pathways shall have the right to use, modify, adapt, and incorporate the Submitted Content into its services, products, or promotional materials without any additional compensation to you. 

 

e. No Obligation to Use: REACH Pathways is under no obligation to use or display any Submitted Content. 

 

f. Feedback and Ideas: Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other information you provide to REACH Pathways regarding the contest or REACH Pathways' services ("Feedback") shall be deemed non-confidential, and REACH Pathways shall be free to use such Feedback without any attribution or compensation to you. 

 

g. Ownership of Improvements: Any improvements or developments made by REACH Pathways based on or incorporating your Submitted Content or Feedback shall be owned exclusively by REACH Pathways. 

 

h. Survival: This grant of rights shall survive the termination or conclusion of the contest. 

 

15. Virtual Contest Check-In

As part of the contest, REACH Pathways will be hosting a virtual check-in for participants. Details are as follows:
